31 Inch Folded Steel Wakizashi Sword – Full Tang, Black Dragon Theme, Battle Ready, Sharp Blade

For collectors and martial arts enthusiasts: this hand-forged Wakizashi is a serious piece. With an overall length of about 31 inches (78 cm) and a sharp, folded steel blade, it’s built for both display and practice.

The blade is the star. Made from 1095 carbon steel, hand-forged, water-quenched, and folded 15 times (that’s 32,768 layers!), resulting in a beautiful jihada pattern. It’s then electroplated black for a striking look. The blade is fully sharpened and battle-ready – it can cut tatami, bamboo, water bottles, and paper with ease.

Construction is full tang, with two bamboo mekugi pins securing the handle. The tsuka (handle) has a hardwood core wrapped in black synthetic leather over imitation black rayskin. The fittings (fuchi, kashira, menuki, and square tsuba) feature a black dragon theme in alloy.

The saya (scabbard) is lacquered wood with a black synthetic leather sageo. It comes with a black cotton storage bag. Please note: a display stand is not included.
